Storm Guard Roofing & Building was founded by John Stewart, a time-served, hands-on roofer who has spent over 10 years working on roofs of every kind across Dundee, Perth and the wider Angus area.
We started Storm Guard for one simple reason: too many homeowners were being let down by rushed work, vanishing tradesmen and quotes that crept up halfway through the job. We wanted to build something different — a local roofing firm people could actually trust, that turns up when it says it will and does the job properly the first time.
Today we're a close-knit team of four experienced tradesmen. Being a small, local outfit is a deliberate choice: it means John is on the tools and across every job, you deal with the people actually doing the work, and our name is on every roof we touch. In a trade built on word of mouth, that accountability matters.
We cover everything from a single slipped slate to a complete re-roof — including new tile & slate roofs, roof repairs, uPVC roofline, leadwork, guttering, repointing and chimney repairs. We also take on general building and exterior work to finish a property off properly.
